Job objectives

FabricAir is looking for Application & Inside Sales Engineers to join our office in Suwanee, GA. This candidate will work directly with territory managers, consulting engineers, end users, and manufacturers’ representatives to provide design assistance and quotes in a timely manner. Job assignments:

• Provide extensive product knowledge, guidance and superior customer service to Territory Managers, Consulting Engineers, Architects, and Rep companies: to include education, redirection and project specific conflict mitigation
• Clearly and concisely respond to requests for quotes and requests for information including mechanical take-offs, specification compliance, scope summary and identification of design challenges
• Work with stakeholders to gather necessary information to accurately design and quote projects
• Produce clear drawings for use in design, quoting, production, and field assembly
• In house preparation, management, and follow-up of quotation activities
• Produce and distribute orders and shipping/delivery confirmations

Essential skills and activities:

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred but not necessary) or related HVAC design experience
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations
• Strong emphasis on written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of 3D CAD and drafting standards
• Ability to read construction plans and schematics
• Critical thinking & problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Must be results-oriented with a team-first philosophy
