FabricAir will bring the BorealisWind Ice Protection System (IPS) to Wind 2026, one of the Nordics’ largest gatherings of energy professionals. IPS reduces energy losses caused by blade icing, drawing on BorealisWind’s cold-climate expertise to help wind farms maintain reliable output through winter.

Wind 2026 is organized by Renewables Finland, the country’s leading renewable energy association. Representing that mission, the event brings together Finland’s major investors in onshore and offshore wind, solar and energy storage. Finnish wind farms operate in some of Europe’s harshest winter conditions. That’s exactly where FabricAir’s BorealisWind Ice Protection System is built to perform.

Billed as the largest wind energy event in the Nordics, Wind 2026 favors close access to decision-makers over trade-show scale. Around 700 professionals from 300 companies and 14 countries are expected, and past editions report that 98% of attendees would recommend it. This year’s program tackles some of the sector’s biggest questions, such as how renewables can improve a country’s energy independence, or whether Europe can stay competitive in the global clean energy race.
